John 14:26

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." John 14:26

Have you ever experienced this in your life? Where the Lord speaks something to you, whether through reading His word or He speaks something to your heart? Where you know it is from the Lord but it seems so huge you file it away in your memory, trusting in His time He will bring it all together?

The Lord has just brought to fruition something He began speaking to my heart last winter. He told me that I would be living with Rachel and Maeve, my reason for filing this away was I was praying and hoping for a miracle for John (Rachel is John's wife and Maeve, his baby girl). Then when I moved in May, I knew I was only moving temporarily and that I would be moving again in October. I had no idea where I was moving, I just knew in my heart it was October, so again I filed this away. August 18th our Lord called John to his eternal home. Last Friday, Rachel called and asked if I would move in with her and Maeve. The days following, the Lord brought to rememberance all that He had spoken to me. I will be moving in with Rachel and Maeve in October. How awesome our Lord is to prepare my heart for this time of "displacement" over the past few months, as well as, speaking to Rachel's heart to contact me about moving in with her.

I love how He speaks to us, keep your ears tuned to His voice, and when it is too much, file it away, He will bring it all to remembrance, He is so faithful to us.

Psalm 8:1 "O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, who have set Your glory above the heavens."

Isaiah 43:18-19 "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

Psalm 46:5-10 "God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Come, behold the works of the Lord, who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!"

Matthew 6:28 & 33 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;...But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Psalm 116:5-7 "Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. the Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. Return to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you."
