This weekend was just what I needed. Putting aside all the plans and preparations for the office and my time in Japan, I went and spent a few days with some good friends in Maryland.

To sum up our weekend:

There were antics to get the Queen Bee out of her hive and to her suprise party!!

There was fellowship with one of my dearest sisters in the Lord and two of her precious girls, my assistant chefs.

Beautiful scenery

And constant entertainment with everything from dancing pockets, to "Rock, paper, HUMMINGBIRD!" and "Runny Babbit" from my very own recording artist Uncle Scope.

And don't forget..."The dentist always wins."

Thank you all for a wonderful, much needed break away from the busyness of life...for the late night talks and many laughs...I hope we don't have to wait another year before we all get together again.

Oh, and remember Abraham and Sarah, despite the circumstances surrounding us, take one day at a time and our dreams can come true, believe, the Lord is working even when we can't see it :)

I love you guys!!

Auntie Beka we love you too! How about seeing us in 4 weeks instead of waiting a year? We are so excited. Especially Ruthie. She wants to know if she can cook with you too!

I am trusting God for a baby boy named Andrew. Ruthie is trusting God that Andrew will be a girl!

That sounds terrific. I am counting down the days, my flight leaves in less than 3 weeks. I let Michele know this evening that you all would be up to see us. After she speaks to Harold, I will let you know what the plans are.

Let Ruthie know that I would love to cook with her, we'll have to plan on that.

We'll be talking about Andrew...I can't wait to see what the Lord has, boy or girl, I look forward to meeting them.

I did see these a couple days ago, I just didn't have time to comment. It is so great to see updated pictures of everyone. I can't believe how big the girls are and how little Hollie has changed. Hollie, if you read this, you look amazing! Thanks for sharing these, I'm glad that you had a good trip with them. :)
